Ingredients
  • 1 large pumpkinbaking pumpkin, preferred
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Cut the pumpkin in half through the stem. Remove seeds and pulp. Save the seeds. Bake, skin side up for one hour or until the flesh is tender.
  3. Scrape pumpkin meat and place in a large bowl.
  4. Mash with a potato masher you can use an immersion blender which will help break down any stringy pieces if you aren’t using a baking pumpkin.
