1cupred lentils
3cupschicken stock
2/3cupketchup
1/2cupbrown sugar
2tbsp.mustard
1tsp.cracked black pepper
1tsp.celery salt
1/2tspground mustard
1/2tsp.cumin
1/4tsp.chili pepper
1/2poundcooked bacon crumbledoptional

Preheat your oven to 350F.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pan. Saute the onions about 4-5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Stir in the lentils and chicken stock and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and spices into the lentils. Transfer the skillet to the grill or oven and cook for an hour, stirring occasionally.
When the liquid is absorbed and the lentils are soft you are done. Add in bacon at the end if you wish. .
