1cupAlmond milk, unsweetenedor other nut milk, or even water
1/2cupXylitolpulse in food processer to powder

Whisk together all the ingredients in a small saucepan
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. After 5 minutes the mixture will thicken.
Remove from heat. Allow it to cool, pour into a jar and store in the fridge.
Notes
You can easily substitute water for the nut milk but it will be less creamy which is perfectly fine. The challenge with this type of sauce is ensuring the sweetener doesn't recrystallize once cooled. Your options include xylitol, allulose or Bocha Sweet.[nutrition-label]
